Springwater Software Ltd has worked on a number of different and diverse projects since the company was formed in 1991. These have included work on commodity trading systems for companies in the City of London, and the production of a system for the administration of financial and patient records for the health service in Dublin.

We've worked directly for end-users. We've worked in partnership with other software houses. Sometimes we've worked alongside staff from a company's IT department. Our projects have varied in size, with major development projects taking between 3 and 18 months to complete but with some small projects completed in a few days.

The following are some of the most recent projects that Springwater Software Ltd has been involved in:

Sales Lead Management System

Using computerised mapping, this system helps the sales manager and his head office team to allocate sales leads to the field sales force in an efficient way, reducing the amount of time that the sales people spend travelling. The technology used was Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft MapPoint and Clarion.

Loan Credit Ledger System

This is a large bespoke system used by a licensed credit broker. Starting with the company's existing bespoke system, we re-designed various parts of the system in a phased approach. Working closely with the company's IT department, we changed the application to use Microsoft SQL Server as its database management system. The result is a system that the company relies on to track millions of pounds of payments every year.

"Registration Plus"

Registration Plus is a comprehensive software package, designed for registration and inspection units in social services departments and health authorities in the UK. It helps these authorities to carry out their responsibilities under the Registered Homes Act and the Children Act by assisting with the registration and inspection of nursing homes, residential care homes, playgroups, nurseries, childminders, children's homes, boarding schools, domiciliary care agencies and nurses agencies.

The Registration Plus system is built around an extensive database and has routines to allow the users to record details about complaints, handle various registration processes, organise their activities through a diary and week planner feature, and get access to important management information. The system also includes extensive reporting facilities and has been designed to work with common word processing software such as Microsoft Word.

"Inspection Plus"

Inspection Plus is a companion product to Registration Plus. It is designed to assist in the process of carrying out the inspection of various premises.

Designed to allow for maximum flexibility and customisation, Inspection Plus assists inspection preparation, handles the data input process, enables comprehensive analysis and reporting, and assists in tracking requirements and recommendations. In addition, Inspection Plus has been designed to be used on portable computers with ease.

Both Registration Plus and Inspection Plus were developed by Springwater Software Ltd on behalf of Software Division Ltd.
